Sunday Night Dinners...

Sunday night dinners at my home when I was a kid were always Dad's famous roasts, often my brother's favourite: Pork Roast with crackling and Mum's fabulous roasted potatoes or roast chicken on the mini-spit. They were a tradition that I will forever remember. The smell of the roast cooking mid afternoon while we played outside in the pool, mmm... delicious!

Sunday dinners have changed a bit since i moved out of home, but whenever i can i try to make it a special one and last night it was my favourite... Lamb Shanks with mashed potato. It has cooled down enough to enjoy a nice warm dinner like that and i have been craving it for weeks. Here are some pics of it.
